WHOM ERODES EGO
To gain a real benefit from community you must erode your ego
A grassroots community building campaign extolling the virtues of collectivism with the slogan “Whom Erodes Ego”. Led by Jamie “Moose” Hedgerow, community organizer and motivational speaker.

“Whom erodes ego champions community. That sounds nice doesn’t it. Now the individual is important, don’t get me wrong. I love doing things for myself. But along the way I had help. That help comes from the community.
From Ms. Walker my 3rd grade teacher who was patient with me when I couldn’t get my arithmetic right. To Mr. Smith the mini-mart owner who gave me my first summer job.
I am able to strengthen myself because of the community. As I grew up, I joined different communities, but I still had connections to the ones I came from. Those connections are where meaningfulness is found.
I ask you to go and check out other people’s communities. Maybe you’ll like them, maybe you won't, but the point is you’ll learn something new. About other people and about yourself.
We need to break down these invisible walls and stop putting individuals on a pedestal. It’s through community that you and I can grow and become something bigger than ourselves.”
WHOM ERODES EGO AND MOOSE HEDGeROW ARE ANAGRAMS FOR
SOMEWHERE GOOD
Flyers and yard signs will be posted and pins will be handed out to promote the mantra of “WHOM ERODES EGO” to generate hype around Moose Hedgerow and the benefits of community.
A promotional poster will be created stating that Moose Hedgerow is coming to town to give an in person motivational speech.
The “Whom Erodes Ego” mantra will be printed on cards and handed out. The cards suggest people repeat the phrase “Whom Erodes Ego” three times each day; when they wake up, mid-day, and before they go to sleep.
A Whom Erodes Ego website (whomerodes.com) will be created to give the community building campaign legitimacy.
However...
There will be small clues and subliminal messages hidden in the various media executions that will lead participants down a conspiracy rabbit hole.
The clues will point to real world locations. Participants who go to these locations will find a message that says “Looking for Somewhere Good?”.
People following the clues are tasked with taking a geotagged photo of the message and upload it to the Whom Erodes Ego website.
The site moderators verify the photo and send the uploader a key for access to the Somewhere Good platform.
Over time the advertisements will change replacing Whom Erodes Ego with Somewhere Good.
